There has been many threads on this subject, but besides the injectors and fuel pressure is there a sensor that would cause the engine when its HOT to have a hard-start. Its almost at the point where the starter has to bring the engine to a spin start holding key for about 10-15 seconds. When cold it starts first crank even when not starting for a complete year.
Do you have any stored codes? Does your car have a coolant temp. sensor?
If it did have codes they got wiped off because I just replaced the battery yesturday. As far as the sensor I don't know if it has one or where it is, but thats what I'm thinking might be wrong. Its starts fine when cold. I thought maybe the coil has a crack and expands when hot making it hard to start.
Do you hear the fuel pump run for 2 seconds, when key first turned on ?
Just wondering if you have a pump relay problem and the fuel pump is being powered by the oil pressure switch. When the oil is hot, it may take a lot of cranking to build up enough psi to close switch.

This week I will give that a good listening too. I'm very good at hearing things and now that you mention I don't recall hearing anything on hot cranks it doese on cold crank. The other thing I have tried is turn the key to the on switch 2 or 3 times before starting and that did'nt seem to help.
Do you have a fuel pressure gauge? See if one or more of your injectors is leaking a little fuel when hot. You hook the gauge up and see how long it holds steady fuel pressure for at least 30 mins (i think) after you shut the engine down.
