Default Finally have new multecs

I bought a NOS set for my 1990 and just have to say they made an incredible improvement in the way the car runs in every aspect. I know you all frown on these but for me they were the best choice.

I took it out on the street for on quik drive down the block (unregistered) the power was extremely smooth with very crisp throttle response. Idle is also just simply smooth as can be!

Of course they are working well, that's what the fuel delivery system was designed to use.

well worth the money spent and it also stopped the erratic high idle thing it was doing. It also seems to start a lot quiker now as well, it used to crank for like 5 seconds before it fired off now it starts immediately.

That was only the originals, rebuilt ones will be ok, unless your rebuilder used real cheap ones.

He bought NOS injectors so, they are the same as the originals which are not compatible with Ethanol.

Lmao.......

Bosch IIIs are better in everyway and you will still pass a smog test.

Or the 1000s of mustang/vette owners running bosch IIIs in Cali would all be under a tarp.

Ah well im back to the parts for sale section to lurk for some more very very non smog legal parts! ah good ol Roanoke Va no smog testing!

Yeah mines at 198K miles so doubtful it will last another 20 years anyways But at least I put them in and car fired right off and runs perfect with no hassles.

A smog tech can fail you for whatever he see's fit! Once that happens it is off to the referee you go, there is no smog tech that will risk his license and not wonder if this car in question is a state test vehicle.

When I license it DMV will even make me open the hood. So don't tell me if anyone see's something that looks out of place can't stop the registration process. Ask the guy who's smog tech failed him for an adjustable pressure regulator.

Injectors are a wear/replacement item. Billet adjustable FPR's are not. Get real. Enjoy those new injectors.

There is nothing wrong with replacing your injectors with
OEM.. But the new Bosh III are better injectors.

It's an upside down world when you are castigated for using new OEM originals rather than used injectors that spent their past life on a Ford.
