It is AHHH-LIVE!
The Best of Corvette for Corvette Enthusiasts

I haven't totally laid into it yet. But I can tell it's a completely different car. I'm pretty sure it's going to end up pulling harder than the 2004 C6 I drove earlier this year (LS2). (Plus, it simmed that it would.)
The guys at the exhuast shop (including a couple of customers) just stood, looking at the motor, saying WOW.
One of these days I'll get it to a dyno to see what it makes, but it won't matter. I can already tell it's the motor I wish GM had installed in the first place. (The ZFDoc short-throw shifter is WAY cool too!)
I'm really happy. Plus, its running pretty darn well on the factory tune! (Some minor changes were made. As I drive it around, I wondered if it might take/like some extra timing, but not much to complain about. Nope, I can't complain... OTOH, it's time to plug in TunerProRT and see what's up. That'll be the next step.
Thanks for all the compliments!!!

Oh yeah....I did do all the port/polish work myself. Plus I did the engine install myself. (Wasn't sure I could do either at first, but now I'm glad I learned!)
BIG THANKS TO THE GUYS AT THE CF!!!

Aftermarket TPI manifolds (in this case, Edelbrock) come drilled to mount to ANY Gen1 SBC 350. (Accel and TPIS are equivalent.)
My manifold is a "large-mouth" aftermarket -- as are the runners. I mega-ported the runner tops and enlarged the rest of their length.

I'm pretty sure I haven't gone much over 4500rpm's yet. And, there's been no hint of hitting the ceiling yet. I'm hoping the hours and hours of porting paid off!!!

(FWIW: I kinda wish I'd gave it a good, hard WOT w/o the exhaust installed. Cause my first impression - with a 3/4 burst was HOLY ****, this thing's gonna pull HARD!
Hope that's still there with the exhaust on it!)

and hopefully not on the side of the road somewhere.
