1994 LT1 OBD code 42 ARGH!
Ok I put a new Ignition module in my Vette a year ago when she cut off in the garage (best place in the world for a break down). Ever since then she throws a code 42 ignition control module ground. It's on there properly and I have even installed a coil and ig mod from another car, same result, there was the possibility of a bad ecm so I even switched that out with another 94 and the code still came on.

A poor pin connection comes to my mind at first. Intermittent are hard to find. Does the 42 come up every time the engine is started, or just now and then. I don’t have a concrete answer but I would suggest looking at the FSM for starters. It may point to the problem area and as to what triggers the code.
