Default Liquid sound deadener

The sound deadener I used from Elemental Designs has the consistency of very thick paint. Almost like tar or roofing sealant. It does not drip, even when applying to the bottom floor pan. You can get it in black or blue and can be painted. Put it on in July. It has not chipped, cracked or peeled.I live in SoCal, so cannot comment on freezing temperatures. I am very satisfied with the product.

It would appear to me that through your investment in sound dampening materials that you are concerned about in car sound. I would say that you would probably be the happiest leaving the exhaust system stock. The LTx systems flow pretty well for stock engine applications and you will not see a noticeable HP gain for spending 1.x thousand dollars on shiney pipes. Most of the restriction on this system is cat forward. If you want performance gains, get long tube headers with high flow cats and then that cat-back system. But alas, you run the risk of compromising cockpit serenity.

Go on You Tube and you can hear the exhaust before you buy it. I did just that and I bought a borla system sounds good and no resonance. Hope this may help you. I gained some HP but don"t know how much.
