Another C4 lowering question
I AM SO EMBARASSED! I could not have been more wrong if I had tried. And one of my major complaints on this Forum is individuals (like me, apparently) posting things as if they were hard fact, without actually knowing.
Well, I do know, and I wrote it exactly the wrong way! This was the primary method we used to corner balance our 1987.
Loosening the nut (turning counter-clockwise) lowers ride height on that corner, and therefore reduces corner weight. And the converse . . . . . In fact, in my notes from our 1987, with the medium-stiff springs, a complete rotation of the nut shifts approximately 3 pounds on-to, or off-from, the corner in question.
Thank you for doing a reality check with me - I go back into my trance now.
