Default Newman suspension components?

Has anyone ever used or had Newman Car Creations rebuild their suspension components with the bearing kit?

http://www.newmancarcreations.com/products/

I looked at the price of the bearings from Currie and that was $40 per bearing, plus machining the parts and pressing in the bearings. Just want to find out if this works and worth the funds or find less expensive bearings and DIY.

For less $$$ you could buy the Banski rear components that are fully adjustable

That is far less expensive that is for sure, still trying to find out what they do on the A Arm modifications, is it bearings as well or just a Delrin/DelAlum bushing.

I've never used Newman's car stuff but Newman's pasta sauce is pretty good.

VPB ( http://www.vbandp.com/ )usually does a big sale around this time of year. You may want contact/check with them also.

By the color and price it looks like there are Global West del alum bushings in those. Guldstrand sells roller bearing a-arms and they cost much more. Link: http://guldstrand.com/scripts/prodView.asp?idproduct=49

I was thinking of putting those bushings in my car but they are not offset for more negative camber. C4's typically can't get decent camber. VBP sells poly offset bushings. I've been meaning to call Global West and see if they can sell the Del Alum kit offset.

Those are the Global West Bushings in the A-Arms. I just installed a set last week. WAY smoother operation than the poly's that I removed.

I"ll install them for a heck of a lot less than Newmans if you're interested.
