Default Cluster Differences?
I took the cluster out of my wrecked '85 and put it in my 86 and when I went to put the trim piece back on it doesn't line up and the 85 trim piece wont fit. There is an obvious difference in the two trim pieces because one is flat on the back and one is not. What do I need to take out of my 85 to make everything line up?

they changed the angle of the cluster for 86...you probably (this is a guess) need to take the entire trim piece from the 85 for it to work
