Default Ball joint shopping

Hey guys. I know there are a tun of threads about ball joints for our cars but one more time please !

1994- I have about 1 month of time to shop but I would love to nail down a set of ball joints and pull the trigger. I heard Moog are the best..

But- are moog the only ones that will fit 100% or will others fit but just not last as long?

I have seen moog ball joints for as low as 23 a piece but that was last month, now they are about 60.00 +..but I have seen other brands for 23.00 + but I don't want to have them not fit. I am not worried about them lasting as long I just want them to fit well..

Anyone tried any other brands and have success ??

Moog is the way to go. The uppers aren't priced too badly but the lowers will cost you if you don't shop around. Rockauto has pretty good pricing for both the uppers and lowers....save some shipping $ by getting them all from 1 vendor.

Use MOOG. Labor is the same to install, it's always better to use a quality part.

While I have never had to replace a ball joint on my corvette, I go through several a year on my dirt track car. Moog ball joints will bend but not break, other brands we have used fracture and break when hit. I don't use anything but Moog ball joints and tie rod ends for this reason.
