Default security system
i cannot start my 85 after setting the security system. how do I over-ride this. i have tried to put the key in and turn on and then to lock as manual says with no results. electrical system seems to be working ok. nothing on the starter. how do i release the solanoid?

85 has a Starter Interrupt Relay , wired different to the Starter enable Relay on the VATS equipped cars

I am assuming this is the original system. this is the first problem I've had. when I shut the drivers door the system set, but when i unlocked the door the starter would not engage. thanks,

the horn is non operating on this car. one of several things that need corected.

Maybe the switches in the door are worn and not working correctly
