Another quick question; if I had a miss, wouldnt it miss in gears 1-4 as well and not just overdrive?

Certainly, but without that hard un-dampened connection you find it much less noticable. Also some misses only happen at part throttle, others only a full throttle, depends on what the source of the miss is. You may simply be running on 7 cylinders or only missing at light loads..

As mentioned before, pulling and looking at the plugs is an excellent and easy place to start, ideally after this 'rumbling' has been happening for a few minutes so the plugs will show if something is bad.

alright, the car definatley does not have a miss. Got the car on a lift and the drive shaft and axle appear to be okay. I guess I will change the differential fluid and pray. Any recommendations on what fluid?

Ttt....I tried doing a search but couldn't find anything. Any suggestions on differential fluid? I'm not exactly sure what to use as the red tag on my Differential says "limited slip lube only"

Limited slip lube in GM's eyes is simply gear lube with their little bottle of friction modifier. You could use a regular 80/90 (or heavier if its got some miles) plus a friction modifier from GM or others, or some of the synthetics are good to go in limited slips right from the bottle.
