I think you should just write off / forget about the Renegade Crossfire Intake purchase you made & never received after 1 year or so.

Arizona has plenty of problems of their own being right next to Mexico & Drug Cartel killing everyone in sight & have been making their way into Arizona day & night.

The in- laws are around Phoenix.
They tell me all via video conference & I read on the internet too.

Sorry,
But that better business bureau is likely broke & bankrupt.

Hopeful the rest of America survives.

Brian

They are 'not' accredited by the BBB of Chandler AZ. and currently have an 'F' rating with that group. 'A' being the best rating and 'F' being the worst. according to the BBB in chandler, they have a reputation for not responding to complaints. BBB's are not enforcing folks, all they really do is report, businesses dont even have to join them. If you'ld like to file a real complaint, the State of Arizona District Attorneys office is your best bet.

Someone needs to call the Arizona Governor's office for our buddie Steve in Australia.

Make a formal complaint there.

Its terrible what has happened to him.

Likely dished out $1,000 US dollars for that Renegade Intake plus shipping to his home in Australia.

Bunch of BS he has gone through just a get an answer or his $$ back.

Brian, that kind of complaint takes a letter from the one making the complaint, good ole' boys callin' for a buddy doesnt work. I've basically done in 5 minutes what some of you others who say you're 'buds' havent done in 125 posts and how many months? Try and be a bit more 'real'.

Ok,

I think you understand as well as I do Bob what will happen if a letter is mailed off to the Arizona's Governor's office............
Into "The Round File disposal can or paper shredder".

I am out of legal ideas for Steve...........

Ex Marines are bad asses......... like you are Bob.

I have buddies that were Marines too...........
Yes they out drank me on the weekends together.

How about a letter of petition signed by all on C4 via email ???

Good link! Thanks. As it happens I am a member and I see that the infamous "Jim" (alias elkabong) from DCS actually posts on that forum regularly and only gives service it seems to those who shout the loudest. Likes taking everyones money in advance knowing full well that he can't supply everyone.

This is not the end of the world Brian. I have lost a lot more on the stock market in the last few days for instance.

However, corvette people need to be protected. Everybody with an 84 c4 needs to be warned of this. I think there are more 84s out there than any other c4 so quite a few people to warn.

I paid them $460. Luckily I haven't paid them any shipping costs. Looks like BBB are a lost cause so I will try something else.

Now you're talking. I should front up in person with my "Crocodile Dundee" outfit with a placard "I want my manifold and I want it now"! That might get there attention.

Heres a recent quote from Jim at DCS:

"Someone stated they wanted honesty. So here is honesty. I took a IT contract to pay the rent, food and what not. I can not just answer the phone. I have been working on these damn things in the evenings and on weekends to get them out along with working on TBs, shipping tubes etc. Since DCS was started I (and tom for that matter) have not taken a single dime nor have we gotten our money back. Every f....ing dime has gone in to DCS in some way or another. The reason for the website showing out of stock is if I don't have them to ship they are pulled. You should also note that Renegade orders are not being taken becuase I am working at getting the backlog caught up.

So, there you go. If anyone wants your money back send me an email I will *gladly* write you a check."

I have been asking for my money back since January so not sure what happened to my check!

Just a good word for DCS and Jim. You will get your manifold if you wait, I don't know how long you will have to wait but you will get your manifold. It will do great things for your car and is incredibly well made. I had all kinds of problems getting mine and getting him to return messages also. I made a complaint with the BBB and had to resolve it with Jim afterwards to get parts to finish the job and he was not impossible to work with even after I made the complaint. I regret to hear he is still not answering messages. I think you should wait for you manifold it is really worth it. i have #0057, I ordered it the first of June 2010 and I got it Dec 2010. Good luck Lemme!

It appears these guys need someone to help them expand their business. There are plenty of chinese foundries out my part of the world who could pump these out in the thousands I believe at the right price and quality. The way they are going it appears is slowly down the gurgler!

My first prefrence now is getting my money back. I am favouring a stroker crate motor for my 84 with carb on top.

The way I grew up & was raised Steve here in Illinois..............

If someone gave me that kind of attitude after I paid them in full with my cash $$$.......................

A butt *** kicking is order with my 2 fists.........

Just for fun when they are laying face down moaning in agony & pain from me beating them till they dropped down and could stand no longer..........

Take my right foot & kick them as hard as I can right in the rear & try & launch them airborn like a "Football".

I have been thinking of You Steve & everyone you know at home in Australia.

And the chaos going on once again in the USA & global financial markets.

Grab a shovel & dig a hole in the ground in the middle of the night alone somewhere.

Bury some of your hard money in the ground.

Its the old school Italian ways I was taught............Bill taught me that.

Hang in there Steve....my friend.
We are all in for a long haul ride for some time yet.

Kind of an interesting comment to say the least.

If it does not work why are you doing it?

Why would it matter others are not getting involved when it's not their business?

What officials, or businesses want to hear from any old Joe that has nothing to do with anything?
