94 LT1 Water Jacket Plug Removal
Hello,
Trying to take out he water jacket plug to put a manual temp sensor to control my second cooling fan switch and I am having a problem getting it out. I am using a 5/16th square bar stock tool but can't get the plug to budge. Any ideas on getting this out would be helpful. I have the coolent drained as I have just had to replace the radiator.

What kind of sensor are you using and what is it going to be connected to (or drive)?
Is this a kit, or did you did the new design?

The amount of heat I felt safe using did not work for me. Then I rounded out the square hole. Yes, I started using bad language. 
my heads were off so I was able to drill out the plug and then chip the threads out with a pick. Not a fun couple of hours.
