Oil cooler
Stock oil cooler worth putting back on a new motor? Just pulled the old motor and i am going to be running Mobil 1 after it is broke in. But would love to get rid of some of the bulk...

Some didn't come with them at all, others did. The reason for no oil cooler in the later year C4's is because of running synthetic motor oil as well as a better cooling system. Many people that run their cars in road races and the such put one back on to keep the temps below 300*

I've found the stock cooler doesn't do enough, so I'm replacing it with a real one.
You definitely need something though; I wouldn't just take it off unless you're a very mellow driver in a cool climate...
