Default gas hog

my 1991 vette is giving me problems my check engine light stays on and i'm burning gas like crazy. i replaced the injectors about a year ago due poor acceleration. i have had it on two different scanners and they both give me a code for map sensor or circuit low. and i changed the map but did not do any good. SOMEONE PLEASE HELP RUNNING OUT OF GAS MONEY ONLY 10 TO 11 MILES PER GAL.

Have you considered taking it to a Chevy dealership for diagnostics? Most have master mechanics on staff that can help diagnose the root cause of the problem(s). You'll have the options of getting it fixed or just pay the diagnostics fee. I'd just let them figure it out and fix it, if you have the funds. At least the repairs are warranteed. Your vette's down time is also kept to a minimum.

I'd say if that's the only code then I would be looking for a vacuum leak somewhere as well as checking for leaking injectors or a failed fuel pressure regulator diaphram.

Put a tee into the vacuum hose that goes to the map sensor, hook a vacuum gauge to it, the readings should be above 17.5" at hot idle.
Check the timing & make sure it advances when you rev it.
Check all grounds, there are a couple on the back of the heads.
