Default Identify unhooked wires...help

The pictures below show two unhooked harness plugs I just discovered. They are located just in front of the TPI plenum below the intake hose. I cannot see anything obvious they should be hooked to. Anyone identify these?

Thanks

The one is for the AIR injection solenoid and the other should be the EGR solenoid - I'm guessing that the AIR injection setup and EGR has been eliminated?

No idea. Learning the L98. How do I know this?

I think you are correct. There is a pretty good view of the water pump in the area where the smog stuff should be.

Take some better pics of by the valvecover/exhaust manifold and under the throttle body and we can probably tell you what's missing...

Look at the exhaust manifolds - are there tubes connecting to the 'top' of the exhaust manifold and running to the AIR pump on the driver's side (next to the alternator). The EGR is underneath the upper plenum and will have a vacuum hose running from it to the solenoid then from the solenoid to the vacuum source.

I'd probably guess that the cats have been gutted too knowing that they probably took off all emissions "stuff" to try and eek a little more performance out of the L98.

The car has headers and no cats so I am sure all that stuff is gone too. I'll take some pics later.

Hide them under the AC compressor/bracket - that's where mine are at.

Then I'd almost guarantee that's what they are - they both tapped into the exhaust on the stock manifolds and some headers don't have provisions for getting the EGR up to the intake nor allowing the AIR injection in.

If they did remove the AIR pump and I see you're still running it - you might as well gut it and remove the friction from spinning the rotor inside of it - or get yourself an AIR injection pump eliminator pulley.

Is there any reason I can't just snip these off and throw them out?

Don't recall if I saved them or threw them away, but I know I cut them off, taped the ends and stuffed them into the injector loom.
