have a tricky one for you
For months now he is loosing coolant fluid ( about 1 liter every 150 miles)
BUT...
No white smoke, exept like 2 seconds while starting cold.
No smoke at all while hot... Car runs great.
Nothing is falling anywhere...
Plugs color are OK. None are cleaner than any others...
Water pump is new...
Nothing can be seem....
Kind of real strange.
Intake gaskets.
Porosity in castings.
Do a combustion leak test with a kit from Napa to verify 100% its not a headgasket going bad or similar.

One dye is used with a petroleum fluids like engine oil, trans ATF, power steering fluid, ect.
The 2nd dye is for engine coolant, works with Green antifreeze & Orange dex-cool coolant.
Use a decent blacklight kit that has "Yellow" safety glasses in it.
Glasses are shaded like a Target gun shooter would wear or Cops- policeman wear shooting guns.
Using the blacklight kit & correct dye additive you will find any coolant leak.
I have been finding very tough fluid leaks for the past 20 years 1st hand that no one else usually could.
Be sure to remove the engine oil fill cap too.
After circulating the coolant additive.
With the blacklight & yellow glasses you will see the dye & coolant mix "Fluorescent up very bright green" like its radioactive from a Hollywood movie.
Thats if the coolant is making its way back into the engine crankcase somehow.

To find supplies & tools mechanics used from the 1960's to 1980's I have to stop in the store in person & grab the right paperback catalog myself from them young guys.
Blow the dust off of those old books too.

All they know is what is programmed into a computer.
Trust me on that note.

I believe they sell a similar Black Light Leak Detection kit to suite your needs along with the correct additive(s) to add to the engine coolant.
Then another additive for all petroleum based oils.
There is no more guesswork using those blacklight kits.
If there is a leak, you will find them within 5 minutes using the kit correctly.
You will be amazed & its very easy to use.
