BRAKE CHATTER
I recently (about 6 months ago) did a break job on my Vette and lately there has been some serious clanking, sounding like bushings went bad and the suspension is about to fall apart. It stops when I apply the breaks. When I did the break job, I applied anti-squeal to the pads (4 sides) and put back on the original spacers that were on the back of the break pads or whatever they were. I have no idea where the chatter is coming from except that it is in the breaks themselves. I have no problems stopping or anything like that but I havent looked at the breaks yet to see why. Has anyone had this problem or know anyone who had this problem before? If so, I would like to hear from you. Thanks.

Did you put the metal clip that is installed on the outer pad? That holds the pad in place when not braking. It could be the pad is loose and vibrating against the caliper/mounting bracket.
