I'm surprised the LSx and Ltx crowd hasn't tried to adapt this marvel in engineering to their motors.
If you are referring to porting of those intake for better flow, if has been done with the LTx intake as for the LSx, that would be in the forums that relates to the OEM intake on their corvette, example C5 & C6.
I don't know why I'm even answering this. You already know this. Asked and answered. C'mon, "Joedirt".
High 15's???? A stock crossfire runs low 15's. So basically this crossfire you are describing is running low 15's with a ported stock intake manifold right where a stock crossfire should be running. So your porting of the stock intake equaled what? 1/10 maybe 2/10's. That crossfire probably needed a little more porting.
I wasn't talking about Tom or anyone else. That was just a little snippet that was meant to amuse not antagonize. Sorry if it offended anyone. Some of the posts in this thread are amusing though.

The crossfire engine is a great topic, most don't like it but for the owners of crossfires we either accept the short comings or figure out how to squeeze some performance out of them to be atleast as fast as a 4 banger import.
Think there are only like 4 crossfires left on earth and they love to argue about the same friggin intake every other week.
I think it is cool if a crossfire can beat a TPI vette. Anymore than that and you are overachieving. Like the one dude running in the 11's with only about $2000 into it.

You already know that nothing you posted above is true.
Anyone here recall the old "Smokey Yunick Cross Ram Intake mainfold?
Find a used one & glass bead it clean.
Install a pair of modern TBI throttle bodies on it.
Or set it up for Port Fuel Injection with welded in injector bungs & Billet or extruded Aluminum Black, Blue, Red, Titanium Silver anodized fuel rails.
Use the throttle bodies just as air valves instead.
Be a Very Neat & Nostalgic "Crossfire " EFI system for a 1984 Corvette.
All C4's started with the 83 prototypes & the production 1984 models.
1984 magazine tests I have put away at home........all were crying the blues for more Horsepower.

Nothing finer than to have a 27 year old antique beating a 26 year old antique.
Except maybe a video of a 27 year old antique beating the 26 year old antique.
