ok newbie here..and i am banging my head against the wall.
Last year Year i had a rough idle and no power, took it to a local who determined it was a few injectors going bad. Replaced them and all was well...
Stored for the winter....Just took it out a few weeks ago and,,,guees what???
Same problem...no power above 45 mph or 3k RPm's..
I have the flashing SYS light issue
Call a Regional Corvette Specialist t see if he could narrow it down, he tell me righ off the bat it is the injectors, and i should have replaced them all...( now i find out)
Says approx $1500 parts and labor to complete..
I have done plenty of mechnical things before, so my question for the group is...Do i attempt it, if so how complacated is it?
or do i start somewhere else? I see alot of talk about codes, will a bad injector throw a code?

no way you can do it!
joking. it is time consuming, 5-8 hrs, depending.
just did mine last week, no issues. lots of info here on procedures, several a week.
Don't mess with factory or dealer installs. Get a new set, that will be balanced from FIC. Check out the sticky thread about injectors to learn more. Replacement is a simple task even for the novice mechanic. Just take your time and you'll be OK. Besides you will save the bigger part of the $1500 estimate going this way.
so this problem went from bad to worse tonight...i took it for a short ride...all was normal for the first 5 min..they started to get progressivly worse...till the point that it was so rough and when i gave it a tad of gas it stumbled..could not get over 5 mph...had to call a flatbed to get it back to my garage.
a few questions before i call Jon in the am..
When checking the ohms on the injectors what is the process?
Key on or off?
What should i be looking at for a reading? I assume i touch each end of the meter to each ear on the injector? do i disconnect the harness on the injector or keep it hooked up.

QUOTE=JustCruzin;1578120731]Ohming out an injector is not going to tell you the whole story, get them up on a bench. IMO[/QUOTE]
however if you ohm check them and they are out of spec. IE: 8ohms. The story is over. and there is no need to waste time shipping them out to be tested as an injector with 10 ohm coils is shot.
