If it's leaking around the threads, remove, recoat threads, and re-install. I like teflon sealer myself. Oil-approved silicone will work as well.

More often, the sensor itself fails and causes the leaks. That would warrant replacement.

DS Valve cover leaks are sometimes mistaken for oil sensor leaks and visa-versa. Be sure of your source.

your 91 is not exactly like that. I have 91, and can get to it without removing plenum, although it is under plug wires and a wire bundle. one sender goes to gauges and has one wire, this one is below that one, two wires, on same manifold

joe.

joe.
2 pics of what you describe. the line metel to left is brake vac line, can be removed from plenum with 5/8 wrench, pull out of the way. also plug wires and GENTLY move the wire bundles.

as the man said, make sure you are sure where the oil is coming from, clean if off with a brush and some gasoline, wipe it clean, let it leak some more. THEN spend a couple hours removing the switch.
