93 vette battery drain

93 vette battery drain
removed the 30 maxi fuse under the hood for the illimination and the drain is gone but the car wont start with this fuse out witch is weird to me. anyone know what components this fuse runs?

no idea. I unhooked the wires at the plug to do the same thing. your Owner's Manual would show it. regardless...you apparently need it.

The owner's manual will not tell you anything about maxi fuses so you can forget about that.
There are 2 maxi fuse blocks and both have 30A fuses in them but (and I am looking in the FSM) I don’t see anything with a 30A rating that would prevent the engine from starting.
What illumination are you referring to?
Provide some additional information as to maxi fuse location and perhaps we can identify it.
Need more info on the current drain also.
