Do some research here and other Corvette sites.
Some folks have had good experiences and some have had bad.
Whomever's opti you wind up with open it up and locktite the rotor hold down screws.

You don't state your year - if you have a later model that uses a pin on the cam to drive the opti you have many more options than for a spline drive and venting.

its a 92 and I have been reading all the posts..doesn't look good, looks like whoever bought them is farming out or just doing a bad job with them..this is the most frustrating thing I have ever encountered with a car..

Good luck with my Dynaspark for several months now. It looks to be a well made piece.

So now you have more homework - call the folks making the DynaSpark.
Ask them a ton of questions. I mean ask them everything you want to know. If they can provide great customer service to a prospective customer they would be back on my short list.

I Bought one about 3 years ago just prior to them changing ownership. It is a spare for me and haven't had to use it. It looks well built and sealed. It is equiped with a drain vent for moisture that goes to a "T" in the vaccum line. This is for my '93 old style opti.

Haven't heard much good about the one's they (new owner's) are making now on various forums. I don't know if it is just customer service or poor workmanship in producing them. Seems like I read that they had switched brand of sensor they were using to help save money suppose than what was originaly being used.
