Sounds like you have a real sensible build going on for the street. The components will work great, idle well (but noticeable), and still get good mileage. Now you just need to get the stuff that goes up and down and round and round. What kind of crank/rods/pistons and compression are you thinking of? Don't forget to choose your deck height and piston cc/head gasket thickness carefully to keep compression around 11:1 and quench around .040. That's a bunch of free no knocking horsepower right there. I'd also go with a LT4 knock module because the Pro-Mag roller rockers will be noisier than stock.
Other then that, I think you have a great build covered. Oh, BTW, auto or manual and how many cubes and what cc are the heads, 57cc?
It's a stock bottom end with a little over 100K Miles.Great shape though excellent Oil pressure.Head gasket Fel-Pro H.P. # 1074 .039" compressed,54 cc Chambers.,I've already installed an LT4 Knock Module.It's a 350 C.I. M6 with 4:10 Gears.

I would think that you would get more bang for your buck if you went with the Impala SS (GMPP) head gasket. It's only .028 compressed. Since most stock LT1's that I've seen are .020-.025 in the hole, a thinner gasket would help your quench quite a bit and that's proven free horsepower. Your compression would go from about 10.6 or so to right at 11.0 and the quench would go from .064 (pretty much useless) to .053 (still a little wide but much better). I've ran 11.0 compression with the XFI280 cam on pump gas and had no knock counts at all. With the slight compression increase and the reduced quench I could see maybe an additional 10 horsepower for the cost of a head gasket. Pretty cheap in my book.
I just noticed that you're from La. I should have known from your screen name. One of my best friends lives in Crotz Springs but he's only a half-assed coon ***. Now, his wife Amy is all the way. On my first trip there to visit him I was looking forward to some real blackened redfish. He informed me that some chef in New Orleans burnt a piece of fish one day and served it to a yankee. It is not real Cajun food. He said if my wife serve me something like that, I'd smack her on her fat butt and tell her to get back in the kitchen and make it right. We don't eat burnt food.
Why is it you Cajuns always have the wildest tales? Do you all just sit around with your buddies at a crawdad (dem dads) boil and think this crazy stuff up. Best folks I ever met.

German, You're not allowed to live in LA. You should be in Minnesota, Wisconsin or Pennsylvania. But anyways yep, the part number is 12553160 and my dealer got it for me for $31.00 each. You know I can see head gaskets being sold 1 at a time but Intake gaskets????? Don't forget to get the Performance parts intake gaskets also. The stock intake gaskets partially block the port of a stock intake. The performance gaskets have larger openings. I don't know why stock gaskets are too small. The performance gaskets are purchased 1 to a package.
When is the last time you EVER needed just one intake gasket? I'll dig the part number up, I couldn't find it quickly. The Fel-Pro are the correct size I believe.
I've used the Fel-pro 1284 and the GM 12524653. I forget which. but with my ported heads and intake, one of them required a little Dremel cut-off wheel work. Very minor though. Sorry I can't be of more help but when I moved into my new engine area I must have thrown out some paperwork. That's me, just about as organized as a Chinese fire drill. I'm certain Tony at AFR will have a number for the gasket as well.
Since you'll only have a little higher cylinder pressures that stock there probably isn't a need for studs. Just some "regular" ole' ARP headbolts should do you just fine. They're what I run on 11:1 engines and I've never had a head gasket failure. I can't see paying a hundred or more just for the studs when bolts just don't fail. Now a blower/ gas or turbo.....different story. I just use the sealer/lube that comes with the ARP bolt kits.
Yep, I use a lot of the Taylor Spiro pro 8mm wires. Never had a problem with them. Although the silicone spark plug boots are top notch and withstand heat very well, the heat protectors are a good idea.
