How about Standard brand ? They seem like more of a discount wire but maybe the quality isn't too bad

Corvettes with OPIT SPARK putting new wires in is OMG lot's work so I guess put in the best we can find . Vetts that are easy I guess you could try cheeper ones if didn't work no big deal.. OPIT SPARK ones no way ,just hard to change so go for the best ..It's a Hot Rod thing... Wires can't be big enough ..More power...More money..Go to love it.. A big set of wires and a MSD hot coil O-YES ..Lot's better gas more power and looks cool...

I replaced the Standard brand wires that were on the car with Taylor 8mm spiro cores and re-gapped the AC delco platinum plugs to .045. It all made a very noticeable difference in smoothness of idle and reduced hesitation off idle. I can spin the tires without having to brake torque now . Of course I routed the wires and separated them much better this time so that might have helped too.

How about some big-azz 10mm ProComp wires?

That's what I'm using on my 383 L98.

Great price too.

Default Wires

Bosch wires work for me. Just replaced them along with the Optispark. Lengths aren't identical to the Taylor wires I replaced, but close enough.
