Default Wiring through firewall

Where is the best location to run additional wiring through the firewall on a 1989?

The cable behind the battery is a huge connector, C100 I think. I don't think there's any way to get an extra wire through there.

The main cable from the ECM to the engine goes through a big seal near the rear of the passenger side exhaust manifold. I think you could get an extra wire through there.

I just drill holes anywhere; around the throttle pedal cable, under the brake booster, to the left of the clutch pedal. Just make sure there is nothing on the other side that will be damaged. After the hole is made, use a coat hanger with a hook on it to pull your wires through.

I added an extra ground for my digi cluster. I looked at the area where there is a big connector and went just to the side making sure I wouldnt damage anything else. After I drilled the hole and ran the wire I dabbed a bit of silicon around it to waterproof it.

Hello all, I've been lurking here since I bought my car in February but thought maybe I would have something useful to add about this. When I wired in a switch to control the fan I pulled the wire thru the hinge area of the driver door and then thru the grommet for the door wiring. No drilling. Just a thought.
