Speedometer Cluster
Can some one please tell me if I can put a 92-96 speedometer cluster in a 91. I have searched the forums but could not find a clear answer. There are discussions stating it has been done but they changed the LCD portion, unfortunately that part is my problem. I have a 95 available reasonably but do not want to purchase it if I can not just plug it in and go. Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks

Not sure what the exact issue is with your cluster but you'll want a 90-91 cluster for direct plug-n-play.
The LCD panel is the same for '92-96 if you just want to swap that.
The 92-96 will not work in the 90-91 or vice versa UNLESS you swap the LCD Panel.
Cluster part numbers:
C4 Corvette Clusters 1990 16133431 ZR1 16133461
C4 Corvette Clusters 1991 16152451 ZR1 1614 2481
C4 Corvette Clusters 1992 /1993 16158831 ZR1 16158841
C4 Corvette Cluster 1994 16168821 ZR1 16168051
C4 Corvette Cluster 1995 / 1996 1618 2831 ZR1 1616 8051
Beware - "used" clusters as with most electronics devices tend to become problematic over time/ with use....instead of fixing/getting them repaired.....people love to sell old-n-busted clusters to the unsuspecting (flEaBAY mostly)....use caution with your replacement part source.

My tach does not work, when I first start the car it jumps to max and then drops back down to the bottom and stays there. Also and even more frustrating the letters and numbers on the digital read out in the centre orange area are very dim (Ghost) the orange part is bright but the spedo, gas gauge etc are very hard to see. The gauges on the right oil pressure etc work fine
Thanks Again
