Default Code 25

91 L98.

What is the voltage range for the intake temp sensor (code 25 is high intake temp). does high temp mean higher or lower voltage?

*edit*

It's both historical and current. Happens when idle after any drive over 1 minute. I suspect a bad sensor.

Update.

Okay, I should have waited a few minutes before I started this thread.

I looked at the intake temp sensor again and noticed a problem. IT WAS UNPLUGGED!!! Well, that explains it...

So, where is the plug? Does anyone wanna guess which one of the three?

Yeah, "oh ****." That's what I said to. Any idea which one is supposed to be the temp sensor. How about the other ones?

The green and white connectors are taped up with the rest of the harness. The red is by itself.

Any ideas?

Yes, I'm going to triple post.
Why? 25 looks and no replies? Awww, nobody likes me...

Anyways. I'm sitting here thinking about the intake temp. Would this cause a problem with open loop fuel mapping? I'm asking this because of the rich condition I have during the WOT mapping. Any opinions on this.

I actually do feel like a douchebag doing 3 posts in a row. But it just popped into my head.

*edit*

Nope, I'm not doing a fourth. The higher to ohms on the sensor, the higher the ECM thinks the temp is. Since I am running rich on injectors that are too big, this is probably helping me out a little bit. A new sensor and properly sized injectors are going in when I finish with the siamese job the intake system. I guess I'll have to live with the SYS light and code 25 until I get it all togeather.

This is now a pointless thread..... Don't I just feel like a moron.....

Default My best shot

According to what I have on my drawing, it shows a TAN wire and BLACK/PINK wire that connects to the sensor. Look around for it and see if it droped down. Hope you have these colors and this helps.
