My car redlines w fuel cutoff at 5700, I have a shift light set at 5600 and will set my nitrous to shut off at 5500, does that sound safe and like good numbers given the factory fuel cutoff?
Only thing I can think of, is if its a manual car with MAP sensor and you lift off the gas to shift, it will momentarily go to a default lower map and pull out alot of fuel and the nitrous is still spraying... I never really heard of any problems doing it like that but you never know.
Automatic I'd spray til the shift point. 100-150 rpms or so before fuel cutoff is a good point to stop nitrous in the window switch. thats about what I did.

Don't forget that the WOT switch will cut off nitrous as soon as you lift off the gas to shift
i set mine to cut 200 rpm be for fuel cut most window switch need at least a 200 rpm up or down for them to work other wise they think its glitch and wont shut off the spray

My window switch is set from 3,000 rpm - 6,000rpm, which is 200 rpm below my extended redline. I think you're in good shape!
