97 engine in a 94 vette
hey guys. Working on a 94 vette with an engine out of a 97. I was wondering what sort of changes had to be made to hook up the optispark and crank sensor. Also if the computer in the 94 will work. I belive the 94 has the sensor built in the optispark. Any help would be great! thanks

Your engine wire harness will not have a connection for the crank position sensor. But that is not an issue, just leave it unplugged.

Yes your computer/PCM will work. You will also need to use the OBDI knock sensors off your 94.

Are you meaning a 97 Vette? LS1??
I just put a 'built' LT4 out of a 97 TA in my 95 and just got to start driving it again this week. It was a fairly easy swap and going 300hp to 420+hp is awesome.
