Let's narrow the list of buyers for the stepped hearders:
1). If you have an intimate relationship with you C4--Your dial-in is with permanent letters on the window, its intimate. Auto/M6 no difference.
2). Spend alot of time at the drag strip.
3). Hit the rev limiter at 6500+ RPM most times driving the car.
4). Car puts out 500+HP/TQ
5). .15 ET is a major upgrade at this stage.
If this doesn't fit, the 1 3/4 ARH headers might be the way to go.
I am about 90% sure I am going to get a set depending on price. I need to figure out who is serious about these headers, and who is more or less probably not going to get a set.
When I call ARH, it would be nice to have a number in mind. I have a feeling it will be 4 on the low end, and 8 on the high end.
You guys can either reply to this or send me a pm.

Rick quit reading the web and get some track (not dyno) results before you start changing too many things. You dont even know quite what you got just yet.
Get some track time in. If you trap in the 128-130 your doing good. That what I would expect a 421 with a stick to be at.
Pete-
If you have a L98 with the oil cooler you WILL need to remove it (see my thread.."another header question").
I just finished the headers, working on the X pipe now, another fitment issue, waiting to hear back from Nick at ARH.
The X pipe was a bit wide wide and didn't line up with the headers.
Although I don't have a mandrel bender, I was able to squeeze the pipe enough to mate the parts together. Working on the rear hanger now.

Mine on my LT4 was the same. I just used a ratchet strap and pulled the collectors together.
