Code H63 keeps coming back

Code H63 keeps coming back
I know that is the right o2 sensor circuit being open.
I am guessing that means I need to replace the right o2 sensor?
Is this a typical o2 sensor found somewhere on the right side, in or just after the exhaust manifold?

Burning Brakes
H63
I would be interested if anyone has had the same problems and what fixed it.

My 1992 has been giving intermittent left bank lean error codes. I replaced the left 02 sensor, which did not help. I also replaced the fuel injectors as they were the original multi techs. The car ran better but I still got the lean codes. I then found a hole in a vacuum line going to the cruise control module. Replacing the vacuum line made the cruise control work but I still had the lean codes, intermittently. I then bought a 10 meg ohm impedance multi meter and tracked the problem down to what appeared to be the ECM.
Removing the connector that had the wires going to the 2 O2 sensors from the ECM, I was able to measure 1.1 volts going to the right sensor but only 13 mv going to the left sensor from the ECM, with the key on but the engine not running.
I sent the ECM out to be rebuilt. Yesterday I put it in the car but have not had a chance to take it out yet. Hopefully tomorrow I can get it out. I will let you know how it goes.

Not home this week so I cant look up the code for module 9.
Maybe someone will chime in with the info.

That is just great. The ECM can definitely cause the problem.
Just wondering are you pulling the codes with the on board diagnostics since you said the dealer could not find any with a scanner?

I used the on board diagnostics with a jumper.
I figured out that codes were different for each section.
I need my FSM to get here.
H63 in section 9 for a 94 is "Valve solenoid relay fault"
I checked both relays, they seem to be working fine.
So without more guidance or a FSM I think I am out of luck.

You can clear the codes for module 1 & 4 by disconnecting the battery. It doesn't work like that for module 9. They have to be cleared using the on board diagnostics using module 9.7. I would clear the codes and see if it returns before I did any troubleshooting for the Valve solenoid.
Does the car make the ratcheting noise from the rear at 4 mph. And does it seem like the ABS is working when a wheel locks up. If both answers are yes, then that sounds like things are working.
Do you have a ABS light on?

Im certain there was a problem.
I cleared the code 3 times, it comes back before even starting the car.
There wasn't any power getting to the modulator.
No, the car was not doing a self check of the abs. It will not do the self
check if there is an error. No, the abs was not working. No the ARS was not working.
I am 100% certain the was a break in the main power wire.
I just haven't taken the time to find the break.
I ran a new wire and everything is working. I will find the brake when it is warmer.

Right now the best place I can say to start is to check the brake hydraulics fuse. It is 40 A fuse in a fuse box under the hood fuse #8. There are 2 fuse boxes near the battery, you will have to finger out which one it is, I'm not sure.
If that is good then check the connector for the ABS unit behind the driver's seat in the compartment. Inspect, clean, re-seat, etc.
