Don't worry about us. The car and modifications run the show.
Modding a vette is like making love to a gorilla.
It ain't over till the gorilla says it's over.
Geez, are you saying we're all getting manhandled by a gorilla? I hope the gorilla atleast bring the whips and chains to make it a little more interesting!
See I knew if I posted something on here that looked ligitimate eventually I get responces that would prove I could bring everyone down to Pete's and my level. Pete it looks like your the common denominator of all of this. Are you naughty by nature or is this just your Christmas spirit?
Thank you everyone for the kind words on my project. Many ideas came from the postings on here.
So sorry Mountain, in my haste to say something stupid, I completely forget to say congrats on gettin' 'er done. Looks fantastic. I'm not a big fan of the chrome on the underhood, but yours look great.
P.S. Do you still have the original valve covers you were looking to sell back in May?
Hi Ray, thanks for the honest opinion. I sold the covers over the summer on ebay. It didn't seem like at the time there was any interest here. They actually went to a vette owner from Washington state that was going to have them powdercoated to match his exterior.
Pete, I'm not as experienced with modding as I am with gorilla sex, but in both instances I insist on no kissing on the lips!
Hey Ray, are you coming to Carlisle again this year? If you do maybe we can get some good weather this year and won't have cut the weekend short like last year..Your also exempt from having to bring your car......WW

Thanks Wayne, the commute would kill me! I hope to make it and I've been guaranteed no earthquakes or hurricanes this time. I'm going to try to get in at your hotel this time.

I agree very well done and a nice looking vette. I would also like to hit carlisle sometime but probably this next year, I took vacation off in early June to try and hit a leg of the power tour with my Dad.
I always admire someone with a shiny black car because that's work.
Beautiful car Darin. I absolutely love the engine bay! So so clean. I just found a powder coater here locally to me, HORRAY! I hope my engine bay will look half as good as yours when i'm done. B E A utiful!
Where are you guys all located? Or going to meet up for this thing i seeing mentioned. I'd love to join if it's in a reasonable distance!
i love it....whats the rear wing?(wrap?)GTO ? very sweet ride hope mine looks half that nice one day. i do love the way everyone helps each other on here..
Pete and I are from northeast Pa. I believe WW7 is somewhere around West Virginia? I think nutz4c4 is New York. We're all over the place. I guess that's what will make this trip fun especially when you have this pack here. I really hope you like gorillas. Not sure what Pete has in store but I think I'm going to purchase a protective cup just in case.
Hey nvrl8-2, yes it is a GTO wing. I found someone in NJ selling it. I picked it up at a decent price. I kind of used that piece to dicate what I did with the rest of the car as far as the styling.
