Well I think I finally finished my 1988 project. I originally purchased this C4 corvette from a man in Md. with approximately 14,000. I wanted a good sound project car. In the last year of ownership I had a 383 put in compliments of Andy Jensen. Of course, I had other things done along the way to include deleting the frisbee, underdrive pulleys, K & N air filter with cut lid, SLP hogged out runners with hogged out plenum, 30 lbs injections, OBX long tube headers, Magna Flow cat back, throttle body bypass and descreening of the MAF. I had the entire car repainted, a ground effects kit and rear apoiler put on the car. The windows all around are tinted with 20%. The rear tail lights from lights and side marker lights are all tinted (picture taken before tinting). The engine bay is very clean with most things either painted black, powder coated black or with chrome. Lastly, the wheels shown in the picture are gone. The brake calipers are black with polished aluminum C5 Z06 wheels. The car is awesome in my mind. To me the car is fulfilling a dream of always seeing the vette as the ultimate car. I absolutely love it. Currently I have 15,000 miles on it. I have a few friends to thank for helping me with this project. As I had mentioned Andy Jensen is one of them. Other supporting members of the project was James Yanoski and Max Morgan. I would like to also to personally thank one of the most well rounded people in the corvette forums. This person is well known to this forum and has been a great resource and friend to me. Fortunately, he only lives about 8 miles from me and has offered me boat loads of sound advice which I have listened to every bit of it and it was spot on. This guy speaks from true life experiences and is more than willing to share his knowledge so that you dont make the same mistakes he has made in the past. He understands how hard people have to work to put money into their cars and is straight forward in telling you if what you have planned is going to make you hp/tq and if you are wasting your hard earned money. Thank you Pete Kane! I didn't know you a year ago but I know you now. You have been the most important person on my project and have been more than willing to help me and have been willing to deal with my learning curve. I owe you big time. Well without further delay here is my baby.
PS. When I get a chance, I will post pictures of the new rims and the blacked out side marker lights and front lights. I also forgot to mention that the corvette license plate on the front has had chrome lettering inserted into the grooves of the corvette.

I am going out on a limb, and say my car will be there.
I usually break it just before Carlisle. I may need help pushing it into the parking spot
Hoping to R&D that experimental trans with the custom gearset this year too.

I need a reason to buy a new tent anyhow.
As long as I stop racing it 2-3 weeks before Carlisle, odds are good. I have enough spare crap to fix everything but a crash.
