Default electrical question

Picked up my 1994 vette this weekend from the shop, they changed out my springs and shocks, and rebuilt the tilt mechanism in the steering colulmn. they used a brand new knuckle, and we also swapped for another steering wheel, mine didn't look too good and also the horn activator buttons were cracked on the original ones. When I picked it up it all seemed fine, but next time I drove it I now have two issues, the digital guages in the cluster are no longer working, the tripmeter is, but no digi guage readout, Every 45 seconds or so, sys flashes. In addition to that my AC controler (not the digital one) is funky, the lights over the selected buttons do not work and neither do the lights that shows the fan speed. Truth is I am not even sure if the fan speed is changing when I press the button, as it never really did a whole lot of difference. I can still change what vent is bieng used even though the light does not come on and i can change the temperature.
I am figuring the mechanic probably has one connector not quite connected. However I have not checked anything, not even the fuses yet as I just noticed today on my way to work.
Ideas?

well, update on my issue, driving home tonight I had to stop to pick up my son, I went to turn off the car to pop the rear hatch and the key would not turn off, it was stuck in the on position, I could turn it to the start position, but not to the off position, basically stuck in the run position, anyway as soon as I turned it to the start position and back to the run position, all the electrics that were not working started working.
So now the car is sitting outside with the battery unplugged and tomorrow it will be towed to the shop for him to refix it....
