Default radio problem

So I have a Jensen 7" DVD player in my car and for some reason it is extremely loud. When its on 1 its loud. When its on 10 its way too loud. 1 is so loud you need to yell to talk over it. What's wrong here?

your aftermarket stereo was interfaced with your bose speakers that also have their own amp.

Disconnect the orange wire at the Bose speakers or replace the stock bose speakers. I am not sure where it is at, but there is supposed to be a relay for the amps somewhere. Removing it should work as well. I believe the speakers are only 1 ohm though and will most likley damage your new head unit in time.

Haha. Would it be easy to turn the amp off or maybe take it off of my Jensen?

There are acutaly 4 amps. One in each speaker assy. To disconnect the power to the amps, access each and disconnect the orange power wire. I would disconnect them by pulling the connector out at the speaker side of the plug, that way the hot wire dosen't short on anything.

Roger that. Then cap it off and should be good? I appreciate the help!
