PKE Fob replacement cost!
Why, oh why are replacement PKE transmitters so bloody expensive! C5 ones are two a penny, but the cheapest I've found is $136 on ebay, and $200 from the usual vendors. Mine worked great until it fell apart and the circuit board fell on the floor. Being the genius I am not, I super-glued the CB into the back half of the case, and now it works not at all.
Anyone know any options cos I actually like the system when it works.

A few years ago I was buying FOBs for $75-$85. And then an explosion of pricing began. A hundred dollars and up (more than dealer cost). Couple years ago I bid on a an FOB and got it for $95 to my surprise. I just wanted a spare and now things have gone nuts.
I bought several items on EBay just to get them at one time. Chimes, ABS pumps cruise servo and some other items. But now you can't find them and if you do it's like the stuff is gold. Seems like they are trying to corner the market and take advantage.
Supply and demand, lots changed since I bought my car in 03.
