Default Brake pedal soft

I have an 87 I had to change brake booster, was hissing at me. Fixed that, same master cylinder. Bleed the brakes, now my pedal pressure is very lite. Car stops, but maybe not as dramatic from higher speed. Like pushing on air. what to look for?

If you removed the master from the car to change the booster, you probably got air in the master. You can try to bench bleed the master. Or crack one line at a time at the master and see if you can bleed the air out. Have someone assist with the pedal and refill the master as you go. It may work out OK but if it does not, then you might have to bleed each wheel.

If you don't have an assistant, put a hose from bleeder into a bottle of brake fluid. Then, when you pump the pedal fluid will be sucked back, not air.

The pedal should feel kind of light when working correctly. Sometimes there is a different feel with a new booster. With the engine off, and after 3 or 4 pumps, the pedal should slightly rise and get hard. If it does that, it would mean the master is probably doing OK and there is no air in the system.

If the pedal sinks to the floor or any stuff like that, then it would indicate a probelm.
