Ive got an intermitten code 23 on my '88. I just looked it up in my fsm but dont understand everything so Im hoping to get the translation in common terms. Is the MAT sensor the one right under the plenum? Is it only for egr? My egr is blocked off and it should be included in my tune from pcmforless if that matters. Also in the fsm what does CKT mean? Also what symptoms will this code produce?

I just happened to read one of the older threads debating whether the MAT controlled fuel/spark on MAF cars. Does this mean my tune left the egr code out or is that only to keep a code directly related to egr off? So in other words I should disregard this or would it make a difference having this sensor still in place unplugged?
