Nice looking product. I wish I could install Long Tube Headers on The Ghost.

To the OP, Exotic Muscle (EM) also makes nice headers.

As USA suggested, do a search and you'll find multiple threads extolling the virtues (or not) of most brands. Usually the issues are with fit, and that tends to be year specific. EMs fit great on my LT4...just a tiny little bit of clearance work required on two brackets...but that may not be the case on an L98.

Unless they're stainless steel, you'll want some that are ceramic coated. Painted headers look nice initially but tend to rust pretty quickly. Look for a company that coats inside and out.

Regarding size, 1 3/4 will give you some room for future mods.

Even if they are stainless, having them ceramic coated will make them look good, and keep under hood temperatures lower than with uncoated headers.
The coating keeps the heat inside the pipes where it belongs.

Good point regarding the heat. I only addressed the aesthetics :bb

I love my ARH headers. Came with 3" pipes all the way back to the diff. And they sound amazing.

i didnt know melrose made headers for our cars. hows the fit? iv seen plenty of EM, SW, ARH, OBX, etc but never heard of the melrose ones
looking at melrose prices, about $1600 for the ltx cars, pretty much same as ARH's prices. for the same money, id choose the ARH

The Melrose headers are a great fit..They do come coated inside and out where the ARH does not...
