Rear-End suggestions?
I need some suggestions, I have a problem in the rear-end of my 89, my warranty is going to cover the fix, my mechanic told me that now would be a good time to change the gears if I'm going to because he's already in there and the warranty company is paying for the labor. Currently it has the 700r4 tranny and 3.07 gears. My question is what would be best to put in? It's my daily driver and my commute is 57 miles one way to work, 30 miles of 70mph posted speed and the rest is stop and go freeway (good ol' Nor. Cal). I prefer to be quicker off the line but I don't want to have too high of revs on the highway.
