High current draw is very brief during fan high speed start up, maybe 10 amp draw running.

Link to a C4 install on Digital Vettes is dead.

Gotcha. I thought you meant AN install versus YOUR install.

Since (like fuel consumption in an HP motor) the more power you generate, the more energy it takes, it seems more like the Taurus/MVIII fans either: A) Don't generate the CFMs touted -- or -- B) They use more than 10 amps.

Now, obviously, there can be SOME exception like the new brushless -- where technology improvements help....and on newer motors where direct injection, multi-valves, and variable timing help too.

Maybe a dual 11" setup is best?

I wonder what the dual fan setups on LT motors pull?

And, if I'd be able to squeeze some of these dual setups between the power steering and radiator AND BETWEEN the AC Evaporator and the radiator? (NOTE: The Dual Fan setup on DeWitt's website mentions the need to relocate the dryer).

Looks like a lot of those setups are 4.5" deep. On the RH side of my L98, that dryer sits only 3.5" back. Just depends on whether the RH fan MOTOR would sit inboard that?

On the LH side, the power steering resevoir sits 4" back. I think it's far enough outward though.

I just installed ford focus dual fans on my 85. Some trimming on the fan shrouds are needed. They work great

I can't quite put my finger on it....But it LOOKS like you might have installed something else -- in addition to a fan. I doubt it needed much trimming though!

I've been running that dewitts puller fan for years and it works great and bolts right up. I would recommend it if your car is heating up while stopped. I also have a 12' and a 14' pusher fan in front of my dewitts rad on switches but I never need them on the street, only for racing.

Sorry I don't have a thread on it, I hardly have time to work on my cars so when I do I don't want to fiddle with taking pics and updating threads. I'm happy to answer any questions though, just shoot me a pm.
