Default air conditioning sys removal 86
anyone ever did this---what , if any problems - does anyone make a replacement pulley for it. :confused: :confused: :cheers:

GM makes a pulley replacement. I can't find the #. Tell the parts guy to **** at a nonAC version of the Fbird or Maro.

I removed my AC and simply ran a shorter belt, grooves down the opposite way, against the smooth tensioner pulley. No need to install a replacement pulley, IMHO. Never had a problem with it with prolonged flogging. The belt looks fine after 8000 miles or so on it.
