Is there a way to make my '91 base coupe ride a little cushier? It's ok when driving it on smooth highway roads. But, as soon as I hit the city streets, that's when I start to hate the ride. The car doesn't bottom out or anything like that. I'm just wishing the ride was less stiff.
I installed Monroe SensaTracs on the Missus' '94 C4 - great shock for our part of the country (Google Yazoo Clay, you'll get an idea)...also the entire front end was rebuilt with Energy Suspension parts.
It had an amazingly smooth ride, but on the other hand she wasn't anywhere near an aggressive driver. It did OK in the curves but definitely not a corner carver.

Reason: Clarification
C4's all seem to have a rough ride around town. My 91' is the same way, on the Tour setting on the highway it rides very smooth but in town it's still hard.
Honestly a softer shock like KYB's would help a lot if you have bilsteins now. I also felt a noticable increase in ride quality with Banski rod-end parts, although they're pretty pricey for your purposes.
