92-94 OEM: AC Delco. still available as NOS. except possibly the cap/rotor

95-96 OEM: Delphi (I think). still available as NOS. except the cap/rotor are the newer, less desireable ' opaque' epoxy type where you can see the electrodes through the resin. These will work, but the older 'tan' style are better. These have lower resistance according to my ohmmeter.

Do not settle for remanufactured AC Delco. Despite their 'rest assured' slogan, these are garbage units. I had one fail on me and had to tear it down.

Id add a vent to your gen I style opti. Plenty of posts about it.

I believe there is a company that takes NOS 92-94 acdelco units and converts to a vented setup. I cant remember their name.

This is not a part to buy on a $59 ebay special.

Petris but it won't look stock..not that you can really see it..it is an improvement as it is vented and uses a real Delco opti..

You really need a factory service manual. Otherwise, search this forum, the net and youtube. There's a lot of info out there.

you want a AC Delco 10457702, they are not cheap i think i paid around 500.00 for mine, only problem is they are made in mexico now but they still have the mitsubishi sensor and thats important you can see the mitsubishi symbol in the second picture.
