Default Warpped door panels

So after I replace the window sweep on my passenger side and finally get to putting the door panel back on from it being off for over a month I discover that the door panel is warpped. It has been floppy for some years now, but now it wouldn't even fit back on. It just seems to have gotten all bent out of shape about being off for so long. I managed to get some screws in place and shut the door hoping the nice 100+ degree temps we have here will help reshape the panel now that it is kinda sandwiched between the door and dash/car. Anyone else ever had this happen? What did you do? (and yes I know buying a new door panel would fix it, but I need a new top first.)

There are a ton of different fixes for this..do a search, some work , some don't..I finaly gave up and shot 2 long strong screws right through the top of the panels into the door..I hid them under the window sweep as best as I could..solved the problem..these doors are not very well made, some have cracked ribs on the back, mine cracked at the midway point on the door which caused it to flop forward. Some have fixed it by screwing L shaped brackets to the top of the door so the lip has something to catch on to..another one came up with a way to use wire ties to bend and hold the panels back in shape..you might want to try that one before shooting screws in..
