In my quest to keep the GS stock appearing I had some new front shinnys made up. Big thanks to Shawn Cavanagh for having them cut and welded up for me! Jaymie's body shop painted them for me. They came out awsome! They were stock 17x9.5 wheels.
Yeah what is the purpose of skinny tires? The only advantage may be in snowy conditions, but wide tires give you better traction in both wet and dry environments. Your car was designed with a wide tire from the factory, so why would you change the handling of the car?
You guys don't drag race and made your front tires "skinny". Why? What's the advantage?
I drag race 10-15 times a year. http://www.corvettechallenge.info/
Normal driving I run my regular street tires, but the skinnys are fine on the street just don't take ramps at 80!

Got it I thought of that, but it was not mentioned on your first post.
