I bled it for about 5 seconds yesterday. No change! I had a stream of coolant so I shut the bleed.

Do I need to bleed it longer?

After bleeding go for driving a few miles with the heating on. Let the car cold down and check again the coolant level, refill until the neck if needed.

I shut off the engine after a 30 mile drive, highway and surface streets, so the engine was up to normal operating temp, checked the level and it was just above the COLD level.

Checked again two hours later and level still the same.

So is this a problem? Both temp gauges read normal temps...no overheating or anything.

Thanks

Mine's been the same since I got my 1995. Don't sweat it!

Finally bled it and opened the cap to vent which forced the overflow tank to drain into the reservoir. Low coolant alarm went away.

Thanks for the info!
