NO.

I'm going to go ahead and say you'll be luck to break into the 14's on your first pass. Your CAR might go low 14's...but how much drag track experience do YOU have? I'm guessing not much by your post. Could be wrong though.

Depends on year too
My stock 1990 corvette with 3.07s went 13.81 on a warmer day(about 85 degrees)
Left it in drive

There won't be much to mess with you on the street unless its a newer corvette... Trust me! Even these newer camaros are surprised what a c4 is capable of
To be honest I was! Lol
I'm hoping for low 13s or high 12s with my changes

Different running it at the track than the street
Start going to the track and youll lose the urge to street race...and probably live longer.
As said your first pass could be a 15. Once you learn how to get the car to leave at that track that night (conditions will be a little different ea time) then you can judge what does what. Ill say 14 something best.

Leave it in D (not OD) and just give the tires a quick clean off if anything.
Stay OUT of the burnout box if on street tires, leave on the last yellow.

You won't get into the 13's with the 87......you will more than likely be in the low 14's after a couple of passes......mid 14's on the first pass.

You might have offset the exhaust/intake mods by advancing the timing incorrectly.

It should be close. The trouble you may experience is launch. Between tire spin, and the independent rear suspension. The Camaro may hook up a little quicker, but then there are a ton of variables in this scenario, so who knows. Both cars have about the same in terms of power. If their auto's they're running the same trans essentially. You probably have quicker rear end gears, so once you hook up, you'll get the jump on the bottom, but the LT1 breathes a little better so he'll probably have you at the top. The Camaro has a rear suspension that is more suited to drag racing however.

You said you're 16? You have quite a ride for that age, congrats. A little bit of advice...find a safe place to practice some launches. The rear end of these things can slide out on you, and when they do, they do it in a hurry. If you're not experienced with it, really bad things can happen. Really bad things. My first run in my LT4 on a drag strip saw me completely sideways shortly after launch. Fortunately, I had enough experience to get out of it safely. Just remember that surviving is more important than winning.

Early C4's mid 14 sec quarters stock standard, headers adjustable fuel pressure, cold air intake and tuning will bring it to mid 13 sec quarters.

Later C4s 91-96 high 13 to mid 13 sec quarters in standard form.. if you have highway gearing well add a few tenths.

They all respond well to headers fuel and breathing modifications.

My guess is low 14's maybe about 14.2.

20 years ago, I had an '87 4+3 and got it into the 13.9's with a TB airfoil, K&N filter, Flowmaster exhaust, 1.6 rockers, and tuning (an SLP chip).

I also had a 96 Z28 6 speed. Pure stock it was about 14.1 to 14.2, so I think your '87 will be pretty close to an LT1 Camaro.

Like others have said, a lot depends on the driver. In order to run good times you will need to learn to launch it. Practice (be safe).
