Repriming the engine (oil)

Ok when I get ready to reprime the engine with the little oil pump adapter rod in the end of my drill, how will I know when enough to enough. Do you just spin it for a given amount of time or is there something to watch for?

If you've got a valve cover off, do it until oil squirts out of the rockers. If they're on, turn it until the drill bogs, then do it for a few more seconds.

Just spin ot clock wise for 30 seconds. You cant hurt anything..
